With a jolt Liam sat up in what seemed like total darkness, his heart pounding, and sweat trickling down his face, he let out a dry chuckle.

”Surely if I was dead I wouldn have a heart ” He panted in an attempt to calm himself.

But even that wasn enough to soothe his agitation,

as though to confirm his fears, a VOICE spoke out in an odd way that made him feel like it was coming from his head?

”AH, YOURE FINALLY HERE. ”

He whirled about searching for the person, it was harder to do since he couldn decide where on earth the VOICE seemed to be coming from.

”AHH, BUT WERE ARE NOT ON EARTH ” the VOICE said with obvious mirth in its tone, ”NOR ARE WE ANYWHERE IN YOUR KNOWN OR UNKNOWN UNIVERSE. ”

”W-Where are you , where a-am I, who are you? ” He cried.

”ILL DO YOU ONE BETTER, WHAT AM I? ” the VOICE spoke in an amused tone.

Liam opened his mouth, whether it was to reply or ask another question we will never know, for as he was about to talk he was cut off by the VOICE.

”NO NEED TO ANSWER THAT, ” the VOICE interrupted, ”I AM WHAT YOU MORTALS OF EARTH 1573 CALL A ROB. ”

Liam could feel his face whiten with fear, a cold shiver pass through him as he immediately understood his predicament.

”I died, didn I? ” He asked with a question that was not really a question. ” I died, and now you wish to send me somewhere, ” he waved his hand, ”out there. ”

The VOICE did not speak, but his silence was confirmation enough.

”Where? ” He mumbled, ”where are you taking me? ”

”YOU HAVE NO DOUBT HEARD OF THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF MY HERO ACADEMIA? ” The VOICE continued on as though he could not sense his chosen ones lack of excitement, ”ALTHOUGH I AM NOT SENDING YOU TO THE CANON TIMELINE, BUT TO THOUSANDS OF YEARS IN THE FUTURE. ”

Liam looked up surprised at his words.

”Will I have a quirk ” He asked, ”a powerful one? ”

”YES, OF COURSE, WOULDNT BE INTERESTING IF YOU KEEP GETTING BEAT UP EVERY TIME YOU GOT INTO A FIGHT. ” The VOICE paused as a thought occurred to it,

” IT WOULD BE VERY FUNNY THOUGH, ” The VOICE mused.

Liam paused in alarm. If it decides to do that then I might as well be dead he thought.

His fearful thoughts were assuaged his when the Voice finally spoke,

”DONT WORRY SO MUCH, I WOULDNT DO THAT TO YOU ”

Sigh

”D-Do I get wishes? ”

”NO ”The VOICE bellowed slowly, ”I WILL GIVE YOU A POWERFUL QUIRK, NOTHING MORE, THAT SHOULD BE MORE THAN ENOUGH FOR YOU.

”Okay, okay, okay ” Liam soothed.

”I EXPECT GREAT THINGS FROM YOU, NAY, I DEMAND GREAT THINGS FROM YOU ”

”NOW BEGONE ” The VOICE yelled with a flourish.
